dear expectant mother
We are incredibly grateful you are considering us as adoptive parents for your baby. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is for you. Choosing adoption takes a strong woman who has unconditional love for her baby, and we are ready to continue that spirit of love and support.
We have both always wanted a child, and through hard work and dedication, we have the ability to provide a loving, nurturing, and supportive home. The world is filled with endless opportunities. As our child develops interests, opinions, and curiosities, we look forward to supporting them on their journey to accomplish whatever goals and dreams they set for themselves.
Life takes many twists and turns. As parents, we will always pick them up when they fall, carry them when they’re tired, and stand up for them when they need a voice louder than their own. A parent’s job is never done, and you’re never off duty. Late night feedings, trips to the dentist, birthdays, graduation, first love, or a shoulder to cry on when things get tough are essential to the role. We know our role in this won’t be easy, and we realize growing up is no piece of cake. This isn’t about us; this is about allowing our child to experience all these things in a safe, supportive home with us always there to cheer them on.
We look forward to the many possibilities and moments ahead of us together.
We are a happy, fun-loving couple who have been together for nearly seven years. Chris works as a travel manager at a petrochemical company, and John works as an academic dean at a local college. We met through a mutual friend at a birthday party and quickly discovered we shared a lot of the same interests, such as sports, traveling, and movies from the ’80s. Over time, we developed a relationship based on respect, trust, and, most of all, love.
Our Home & Pets
We love our home and knew it was meant for us the first time we saw it! Our house is a three-story, three-bedroom house outside of downtown in a large Texas city. Our quiet, family-friendly neighborhood is within walking distance to a park with several playgrounds, a splash pad, and even a skating rink as well as Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer stadiums. We are a short drive away from the zoo and the city’s museum district. A little over a year ago, we adopted an adorable dog who enjoys cuddling on the couch and walking on nearby trails. LIke us, he loves children and cannot wait to welcome a new member of the family.
Our Extended Family
Our families play an important and active role in our lives. Chris’s sister and his mom and dad all live just down the road from us. John has two sisters, a half-brother and half-sister, two step-brothers, and his mom and dad. Although John’s family is out of state, we talk often and see each other several times throughout the year.
We are currently proud uncles to four precious nieces and a happy nephew with plans of more to come! Our families enjoy getting together to play board games, swim at the pool, attend sporting events, and celebrate achievements large and small. Holidays are very important to both of our extended families, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every year family from all over meet at our home to celebrate Thanksgiving. John oversees the turkey and desserts while Chris makes all the sides from scratch. Christmastime is spent evenly between John’s family in North Carolina and Chris’s family in Texas.
Our families are overjoyed at the thought of us growing our family and look forward to welcoming and spoiling the newest member!
What Led Us To Adoption
Even before we met each other, we both knew we wanted to have children of our own. As our relationship developed, it became clear we had each met the person whom we wanted to share that journey with. When we picture our life together and make plans for the future, it always includes children. We both have friends who were adopted and have adopted, and we have seen firsthand the love and joy adoption brings. We know in our hearts that this is the best path for us to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
