dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better. We can only imagine the mixed emotions you are facing right now, and while we will never be able to fully understand, we will be supportive of your wishes throughout the process. We are honored that you would consider us to welcome your child into our home.

When we had our son three years ago, our whole world changed. Our hearts grew in ways we didn’t know were possible, and our purpose in life became clear. We both get such joy from our son and our role as parents. We work as team in parenthood and balance each other out. Paige loves snuggling and reading books before bedtime, while Chris can usually be found organizing races and throwing the baseball in the backyard. We will be forever grateful to grow our family with your child and make new memories together.

We promise your child will be loved unconditionally, cared for, and provided with absolutely every opportunity we can offer. We will work to instill values of honesty, kindness, respect, and determination. Most importantly, our home will be filled with love and laughter, no matter what comes our way.

About Us

We’re Chris and Paige, and we’ve been married for ten years but have known each other close to twenty years, as friends. We shared many fun times together after college, but remained friends as Paige moved around the world for work. All it took was a chance encounter over the holidays, and we have been together ever since. Paige is a loving wife and mother who keeps our house going. She has a positive outlook on life that is incredibly infectious, and she brings fun to every situation. She has built a very successful career in pharmaceuticals and is considered a role model and leader at work. Chris is a loyal and dedicated friend, husband, and dad. He loves all things sports, especially golf and football. Chris has built a successful career in consulting and loves working with his team to help clients.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a five-bedroom home in a family-oriented neighborhood, in a large metropolitan area in Illinois. We have a small fenced backyard where our two dogs, Ernie and Walter, and our son, Wilson, love to play. In the summer, we spend time playing tag and baseball and splashing around in a kiddie pool with our son. We love our neighborhood, as we have a great sense of community with many friends and family in the area. We are blocks away from great schools, our church, restaurants, and more parks than we know what to do with.

Our Extended Family

Paige has two sisters and two step-siblings, and through them we are very lucky to have ten nieces and nephews, ranging in age from seven to fifteen. Both of Paige’s sisters live very close to us, and we’re privileged to spend a lot of time with them. Paige has two wonderful sets of parents that live within a couple hours of us and who are active in their grandkids’ lives.

Chris has one brother, who is married and also exploring adoption. While he recently moved out of state to California, he and his family remain involved with our son via FaceTime and visits.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have a great support system of family living very close to us. We have frequent family outings to sporting events, barbecues, holiday celebrations, and just hanging out as a family. Having such a large extended family has provided us with so much support as we grow, and our family is excited and extremely supportive about our adoption journey.

What Led Us To Adoption

We’re interested in adoption to grow our family and add to the happiness we feel as parents. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have a three-year-old son, considering the struggles we have experienced with infertility. We feel strongly we have so much more love to give and receive from another child. We have talked about adoption from early in our marriage and feel that adoption is the path that we have been called to follow. We cherish the opportunity to share our loving home with your child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
