dear expectant mother
We have been on a long journey of building our family. It means so much to us for you to take the time to get to know us better and for considering us to raise your baby. We can’t imagine how hard this decision is for you, but we are grateful for your courage.
Our heart is to build a godly family with a foundation of love. As we imagine ourselves as parents, we see family dinners, holidays, and birthdays. We see first steps, first words, and first days of school. We want to support your baby through all their firsts and prepare them for a bright future. We believe education is important and will do everything we can to help them identify and pursue their passions and gifts. Just as important as education is fun—whether we are making snowmen in the winter, visiting water parks in the summer, or getting lost in corn mazes in the fall! We will cherish every moment. Your baby will grow up surrounded by loving people who will love, support, and protect them.
We believe God has a plan and a purpose for everything. We recognize the complex decision that you are making and that your loss is the greatest gift we can be given. We thank you for your courage and for considering us to love your baby unconditionally for a lifetime.
We met at church through a group of friends. While Emily was the first to see the potential for more, it wasn't until Chris’s family went through a crisis and his first response was to call his friend Emily that she caught Chris’s attention. She was so warm and caring Chris couldn't help but ask her out. We dated, ate a lot of food, fell in love, and got married in 2012. Chris is a senior software engineer for a healthcare company, and Emily is a customer service representative. In her free time, Emily loves playing video games, helping out with Sunday school, and being on the worship team. Chris also loves video games and helping out at church but has recently picked up woodworking. From the beginning, we have wanted to start a family. We can’t wait to open the next chapter of our lives through adoption.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Behind our house is one of the area’s best elementary schools. We have nearly a half acre of property that joins up to a public park with a field for soccer and baseball. We have a four-bedroom, 2 ½-bath ranch home with a finished basement that is perfect for family activities such as game nights and movie nights. We have three sweet tabby cats. Wall-E is our oldest, and while he takes a while to warm up to new people, he is the most affectionate. Sundae is our little hunter but is as sweet as an ice cream sundae. Gandolf is a playful furball who won’t say no to a snack.
Our Extended Family
We both grew up in smaller nuclear families of just one sibling. Emily has one older brother, and Chris has one younger brother. Our extended family can’t wait to have another child join our family. For Chris’s parents, your baby will be their first grandchild. Oh, and we can’t forget Chris’s grandma, who can’t wait for another great-grandchild to spoil.
Between our family and friends, we have a great support system. We get together for all major holidays and sometimes just to enjoy each other’s company. Some of our favorite traditions are pumpkin carving, decorating Christmas cookies, and bonfires. In our extended family, we have several members who have adopted and fostered children. We are within a 40-minute drive from almost all of our extended family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Even before we met, both of us wanted kids. After trying for several years to have biological children, we considered various options. Emily’s sister-in-law even offered to be a surrogate. After discussing all the options and praying over each one, we decided adoption was the best choice for us. We are so excited to see what God has in store for our family in the future. We believe that we are blessed to have a loving and stable home and are eager to share the love we have with a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
