dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering our family!
The first word that comes to mind when we think of the ultimate gift of love you are considering giving to your child is respect! We have so much admiration and respect for you! We would love nothing more than for you to be a part of your baby’s life, in whatever capacity you are comfortable with! You are a part of your child’s identity and we want your baby to grow up knowing about your courage and selfless love for them. You are forever a part of their story. We want them to know their story, where they came from and especially about you!
Our deepest desire is that your baby will grow up knowing how much they are loved, wanted and chosen by everyone involved in this journey! Loved by you for considering the hard choice to entrust your baby’s care to others. We know you want the absolute best for your baby! Know that your child will be an answer to our prayers to expand our family in a way we can’t otherwise safely do. Your baby will grow up surrounded by love, nurtured to become all they were created to be, and encouraged to pursue every dream they aspire to! We will always do our best to raise your child in a way that honors God and the sacrifice you are making.

We met while both serving on the advisory board for a non-profit youth organization. After months of Amy waiting for Jon to realize she was interested, he finally mustered up the courage to ask her out! Seven months later, surrounded by close family, we got engaged on what would have been Amy’s paternal grandparents 60th anniversary! We were married outdoors on a beautiful fall day in 2016 and had our daughter, Izzy, in 2019.
Jon works as a customer service rep for a local RV company. He is hard-working and selfless in his service to others, especially family! Amy finds joy in serving as the office administrator for our church and is also a small business owner. During the week you will find us spending lots of time volunteering for our church in various ministries, making meals together and enjoying our Friday night dates watching Dateline on TV!
Our Home & Pets
We absolutely love our small town! You often see kids playing outside together! Our cozy home has 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms and a massive garden where we enjoy growing many of our favorite vegetables! Perhaps our favorite aspect though is that it is within walking distance to so many of our favorite places! We often find ourselves walking or biking to the local restaurants for breakfast and dinner dates, or to the old-style movie theatre! Our daughter loves our frequent walks to the Public Library and coffee house! There is also an amazing park just beyond our backyard that we go to all the time!
Our Extended Family
We are truly blessed with an amazing support system in our families! We are incredibly close with both sides of our family! We love gathering together for birthdays, holidays, and any other opportunity we can! Everyone is genuinely so excited to have another member of the family to chase around and spoil!
We are fortunate to have Amy’s family very close by! We all go to the same church and are together almost daily, whether it be family dinners, girls only shopping trips or attending lots of sporting events; we just love being together!
Jon’s family is a bit farther away, but still close enough for weekend visits, which we do several times a year. His family actually still meets several times a year for large reunions! Each year we look forward to all the kids running around and adults exchanging stories that always end in tear producing laughs!
One thing that excites us the most is knowing your child will grow up with an older cousin who is also adopted! Our nephew was adopted from Ethiopia in 2018. What a blessing it will be for both of them to have someone they can relate to on some level!
What Led Us To Adoption
We both grew up with siblings we are very close to, so we know we want more than one child. Adoption has always been on our hearts as a way to safely grow our family, especially given the premature birth of our daughter due to medical complications. We have been blessed to see first hand the beauty of adoption in watching the journey of close friends and family! However, it was watching the journey of our nephew’s adoption that confirmed this desire of our hearts. He is one of our greatest joys and our lives wouldn’t be complete without him! Our 2-year old Rainbow Baby absolutely adores her big cousin, so we are so looking forward to adding another playmate for our little social butterfly!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
