dear expectant mother

Your courage and bravery are unapparelled. I stand in awe as you selflessly look for and consider families for your baby. I am humbled you are considering me as an adoptive parent for your child.
I am financially stable and able to be a stay-at-home mom, providing a loving, caring, stable home for a child. I am looking forward to being able to teach the aspects of early childhood development before school age as well as play and explore with your child. When your child is school age and it is time to share what they did during the summer, your child will no doubt have a lot of adventures to choose from!

Although life is filled with ups and downs, I will always be there to help guide your child and help them navigate life. Your child will be provided every opportunity available to succeed, and know they can be and achieve anything they dream of and set their minds to. I will encourage their uniqueness and bolster their self-worth and self-confidence.
I will respect and honor whichever type of adoption you choose.

I sincerely thank you for considering me for your child. I admire your strength and your abundant love for your child as you navigate this emotional journey of making an adoption plan.

About Me

I am an independent woman with a genuine smile, quick wit, and sense of humor. I love with all that I have. Before my early retirement, I dedicated 15 years to public service, with nearly 10 of those years with the federal government. I am overjoyed at the next chapter of starting a family. I enjoy cooking, wood working, making floral arrangements, and volunteering for a foundation that assists veterans and first responders. I cherish family time when the extended family gets together as we do this for all the major holidays, randomly in the summer, and also to celebrate everyone’s birthdays. My love of adventure did not end with my retirement. I am fortunate to be financially secure and am looking forward to new adventures and being a stay-at-home mom and life coach and a playmate to my future family.

My Home & Pets

I have a little Yorkie/Pomeranian dog named Lola, who is super sweet and loves my nieces. Belly rubs are her favorite! I live in a small town in Texas that is extremely kid friendly. I have a three-bedroom Mediterranean-style home, and there is a neighborhood pool. Nearby we have a large community park with several amazing playgrounds. There are numerous parks with natural swimming pools formed by the rivers; ancient dinosaurs roamed the area, and anyone can stand in the actual footprints when the water level is low enough in the river. We also have a drive-through safari that has nearly all of the animals I saw on safari in South Africa; however, the drive-through in town is much more interactive!

My Extended Family

As my nieces say, “We have the BEST family ever!” I love that we have an extremely close family. I am close with my mom. My father passed away during my teenage years; however, my childhood was amazing, and I cherish the memories made. My brother and his wife have two daughters, whom I am extremely close with. We spend special one-on-one time, and they FaceTime me frequently during the school year to help them with their homework.

We have frequent extended family events (myself, mom, brother, sister-in-law, and the full extended family of my sister-in-law) where we all get together for each person’s birthday and holidays.

Christmas Eve we all get together for family Christmas so that the little ones in the family get Christmas morning at home to experience the magic of Santa. When I was deployed, I would Skype on Christmas morning to still be a part of the tradition. I am beyond blessed to be home now to experience the holidays in person.

What Led Me To Adoption

I have several friends who have adopted and have seen the joy it brings when completing their family. It has encouraged me to pursue this miracle to start my family. I am single, and due to a previous treatment for the line of duty injury/illness, having children naturally is not a viable option. My heart was filled with the desire to adopt after working a variety of cases and seeing the various struggles in life, and the desire to help was ignited. I took an oath to protect and serve. Now I am humbled to serve in a much different way (as a stay-at-home mom) and am most excited about this opportunity to provide my love and attention to a precious gift from God.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
