dear expectant mother

First and foremost, thank you for even considering this process. Your selflessness and love for your child is such a gift. After being with our daughter for a year, we can promise you this: Your baby will be our whole world. While we loved our life as a married couple before children, being parents changed our focus, and our first priority will always be our family.

As two working parents, it’s a difficult decision to send children to daycare (or nanny, if we decide that’s a better choice in the future). For us, it was a conscious decision to ensure we provided everything our children could ever want while giving them an example of both parents pursuing their skills and passions. While it sounds cliché, we want to instill in our children that they can do anything they want with their future.

If you were to choose us in this process, we will spend every day creating a loving, safe, and joyful environment for your child. With a mother who loves them so much, that is what they deserve. Thank you again for your consideration, and we trust that God will lead both of us to the path that is best for our families!

About Us

We are Mario and Alison from Texas. We met through a lucky coincidence with mutual friends and ended up falling in love before we even went on our first date! Mario loves to laugh (seriously, it’s so easy to make him laugh) and enjoys time outside with family and friends. He is a VP at a food company that focuses on fruits and vegetables. Alison loves sports even more than Mario does, enjoys trying new restaurants with friends (and bringing our kids along!), and is an engineer at an energy company. We have loved traveling the world together and have equally loved our quiet nights at home watching movies. One of our favorite activities is going to lots of baseball games every year! We also love working with a local refugee support organization, where we help refugees settle into their new lives in their first six months in the United States.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the city. We are within walking distance of several parks and visit them almost every weekend with our daughter and our dog, Rosie. She is great with children and very quickly becomes their protector. We are very close to our neighbors and our small group at church. We usually find ourselves out at a restaurant or park with a giant group of kids running around and having fun. The local daycare our daughter attends is a wonderful place with great teachers who really care about the children and teach them so much. We’ve heard many stories of children being ahead in elementary school after attending!

Our Extended Family

Alison’s parents and her sister live in a city about 30 minutes away. Alison’s sister is one of her best friends, and she and her husband have two kids under three. We have family gatherings about once a month, and Alison’s parents visit once a week to see our daughter (and Rosie, obviously). Their support is so important to our family, and they are wonderful examples of loving parents.

Mario’s sister lives in Texas a few hours away from us, and we love taking road trips to see her and her son. Mario’s mom lives in Indiana, and we do regular video calls and take vacations with her at least once a year. She has so many wonderful stories to tell about her amazing career and world travels; she is really a woman to look up to. Mario’s father passed away in 2015, but his joyful presence and Italian heritage still live on in our family.

Both our families have their roots in the Midwest (Mario’s in Illinois and Indiana, Alison’s in Indiana). The Midwestern kindness, selflessness, and hospitality we’ve experienced from our parents, grandparents, and extended family is something we cherish and want to give to our family as well.

What Led Us To Adoption

We think adoption is such a beautiful picture of a mother’s love for her child, and it has been on our hearts from the beginning of our marriage. We are blessed to have many friends in our church community who have adopted and have been able to see examples of the process and spend time with their wonderful children. We have one biological child and can’t wait to grow our family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
