dear expectant mother

We know this a hard decision for you to make, and we want you to know that we truly want what is best for your baby. We would consider it a blessing to raise your baby if you choose us. We believe that all life is a gift from God and thank Him that you have chosen to give this precious baby inside of you that gift of life.

Marita can’t wait to snuggle a baby and sing and pray over him as she puts him to bed. Alex remembers learning to run at a young age with his father and looks forward to doing the same thing with his son in the future. We look forward to teaching him how to tie his shoes, how to throw a ball, how to be a friend, and how to look out for the interests of others. Alex enjoys driving and would like to teach our kids how to drive someday.

We hope to have the opportunity to love on your child and give him a home with us.

About Us

Hi, we are Alex and Marita. Alex works at the post office, and Marita works at the local college. This year we will be celebrating our sixth anniversary. Marita’s brother introduced us nine years ago at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting at the college, and we became great friends. As a group, we played Frisbee golf, racquetball, and board games and went to church together. After a year, we started dating and got married two years later. We love adventure and doing things outside, whether it’s going for a run, hiking, camping, or just driving down a new dirt road. Alex enjoys working in the garage with his tools, and Marita keeps him busy with her great ideas of things to make. We make a great team. He builds it, and she paints it! We lead the youth group at our church together.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small, quiet town in Missouri where Marita was born and raised. We live in a two-story, three-bedroom home that is over 100 years old and is full of character. We bought it five years ago and have done several projects on it ourselves, including sanding and staining the hardwood floors that cover the majority of the house. We look forward to turning one of the bedrooms into a nursery. We have a great park in town that we enjoy visiting and would love to take your child there to play in the future.

Our Extended Family

We love our families, and they are very important to us. Marita’s mom and dad live in the same town as we do and can’t wait to have a grandbaby around to play with. Marita’s older sister and husband live in another country with their three children so we only get to see them about once every year or two, but we video chat often. They just recently had their third baby (and first girl!) and came to town for several weeks. We enjoyed spending time with them, playing with our nephews and snuggling the baby. Marita’s brother lives in Nevada, and we enjoy going on vacations with him. He is an avid camper and outdoorsman, and we always have a great time when we are with him.

Alex’s parents live in California but are retiring this year and hoping to move close by. They currently don’t have any grandchildren and are looking forward to being promoted to grandparents. Alex’s brother lives in the same state as us, three hours away, so we are able to get together with them several times a year. We enjoy playing board games and trying new restaurants with Alex’s family.

What Led Us To Adoption

After trying to start a family for several years, we found out that we would not be able to have kids naturally. We would love the opportunity to be parents and raise a family and hope that we may get that chance through adoption. We have been praying that God would open the doors for us, and we feel like He has led us to this adoption program. We are excited to see what the future holds for us!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
