My name is Carolyn DeGrenier, I am a mother of three children through adoption, as well as an adoption coordinator and adoption advocate. After three years of in-vitro attempts, my husband and I turned to adoption. We decided on private adoption. We networked with friends and family, and three months later, in July of 1989, we adopted our daughter Kaitlyn. Seven and a half years later, and many more infertility attempts, we felt the need to complete our family again through adoption. Our son Jordan was born through private adoption coordination in 1996. Our birthmother called us back 20 months later asking if we would adopt the next baby she was now pregnant with. Twenty-two months after Jordan's birth in 1998, our son Anthony was born. We truly feel our birthmothers are our angels!
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Masters Degree. I am an active member in infertility groups and adoption support groups. I have spent much of the last 17 years committed to my passion of continuing to spread a positive message to the public on adoption.

Sharon Ahmann
Director

My name is Sharon Ahmann and I am also the mother of three children through adoption. After suffering through 7 miscarriages, we turned to adoption to start our family. In 1988 our prayers were answered with the adoption of our daughter Lauren. Another miracle occurred in less than 11 months when her biological sister Jennifer was born. It was God's plan that she also join our family. In 1999 we adopted our son at birth. His name is Matthew which means "a Gift from God". He is the little boy that we all had been praying for, and this has completed the circle of our family.
I have an extensive background in marketing and advertising, which has been very beneficial in the world of adoption. Her warm & caring nature is a gift in her work with our birthmoms. I am active in adoption advocacy support groups, as well as church organizations. I may not be able to change the world, but helping to place that one baby in his or her parents' arms has become my life's dedication.

Sue is our Operations Manager and has been with Angel since 1999. She has many years of experience in customer service. Her extraordinary people skills are a natural talent when speaking with both adoptive families as well as birthmothers. She understands the desire adoptive families have to be parents. As the mother of 3 children, Sue is always thrilled to hear when her families get a baby in their home. Sue also feels fortunate to be given the opportunity to let our birthmothers know how much Angel cares for them, and their need for support and guidance. We know you will enjoy talking with her.
