Dear birthmother,We would first like to thank you for taking the time to read our profile. It takes a lot of strength and courage to help someone else have a family. We know how hard the decision must be and we hope that we will be what you are looking for in adoptive parents. Tom and I have been together for 19 years and have been married for 8 ½ years. When we got married we always thought that we would have a family and unfortunately we are unable to conceive on our own. We decided to adopt because we both really want to have a child and for us it’s not important where the child comes from but that he or she is loved unconditionally. Our families are both very supportive and excited for our new “adventure” that we are embarking on. We both come from fairly large families with lots of nieces and nephews and would love to add our child to our wonderful family. The decision to help people like us have a family is a truly selfless act. We long to be parents and we hope that our dream will be fulfilled soon. We would again like to thank you for taking the time to review our profile. We are excited to begin this journey to start our family and hope that we fulfill your needs as adoptive parents. About usLet me introduce ourselves, our names are Tom and Jennifer. We have been together since high school and even back then I always thought we would get married and start a family. We are best friends and love to spend time together. We have been married for 8 ½ years and would love to have a child to love and cherish. I am a paralegal and I work about 5 blocks from our house. I come home everyday for lunch and would be able to check in on the baby during that time. Tom is a plumber and works mostly Monday through Friday, his hours vary. We are both very excited about having a baby and can’t wait to bring him or her home! 
Our home / Our petsWe live in a fairly small town, on a quiet street. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a full, finished basement and a 2 car garage. We are friends with many of our neighbors and are generally at one of their homes, especially during the summer time. We have a pool in our yard so a lot of times everyone comes over to our house to hang out and go swimming. We love to entertain and there are always kids over, whether it’s the neighborhood kids or our own nieces and nephews. We are looking forward to introducing our child to our friends and family. 
Our extended familyWe both come from fairly large families and we are very close with them. We usually go on one trip a year with some family member. Our families are extremely supportive and excited for us!! They can’t wait to meet our son or daughter!! We have, between the two of us, 14 nieces and nephews, so our baby will have lots of cousins to play with, laugh with and love. 
What we do for funI love to scrapbook, crochet, read books, cook and watch movies. Tom loves to ride his motorcycle, hang out with family, work in the yard, and swim. We both love to go camping, ride bicycles, hang out in the backyard with a fire and swim in our pool. Summer is our favorite time of year because we can be outside all the time. We love to hang out with our neighbors and run around with the kids. We are excited to be parents and all of our friends and family are too!! Facts About HusbandFacts About Wife |
