Dear birthmother,Hello, Searching for the right thing to say is tough. There are so many great sample letters out there to model but truly we are just blessed that God created a series of circumstances that has brought us together and words cannot describe how we feel. For seven years we have tried to have kids wondering when would it be our turn to get pregnant and month after month the reality of this happening slowly faded away with each negative pregnancy test. You see we aren’t perfect and Lord knows we try to strive to make the best choices in life for ourselves and the child we were trying to have. However, as time passed by, we began to get discouraged despite our pastor encouraged us to leave it in God’s hands. Then one day, during a church service, it seemed like the message was addressed to us. The pastor read Matthew 11:28. We needed faith. We haven’t met yet but we pray that in some form you may already know us in your heart. We realize that this is a huge step you are about to take and don’t envy the tough choices you have before you. We pray that you do take a chance with us and let us show you that our love is genuine and our compassion to be parents is real. We want to be the ones there for you if you have us and bless us with the opportunity to show you who we are. We pray that you are given the strength to make the right decisions in the midst of everything. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to tell you about ourselves and our dreams for the future. About usTabbitha was born in Louisville and raised in Owensboro Kentucky before she moved to Florida when she was 12 years old and is a diehard University of Kentucky and Twilight Fan. Louis grew up in Newark New Jersey before beginning his 15 year career in the Navy as an Officer eventually getting out as a Lieutenant. We now both live in Woodstock Georgia after Louis was blessed to receive a job offer to work for a global company as a financial analyst. Tabbitha is a stay at home house wife enjoying the simple things in life like taking care of Buster, our dog, watching, ”The Food Network,” and “Twilight.” We met at Neptune Beach in Jacksonville Florida in 1999 and have been happily married since June 2001. We have a cozy life enjoying with friends and family. Our home / Our petsWe live in a cute 2200 square foot two story family home in Woodstock Georgia nestled in the back of gorgeous, safe, and cute subdivision. Our home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a private fenced in back yard. We live in the Cherokee County School District where the schools are ranked 10 out of 10 nationwide in education. We live in a neighborhood of wonderful people that, in a sense, are part of our extended family. We enjoy everyone’s company from Todd and Lisa down the street and their wonderful daughter, Eva, that they adopted from Guatemala, Blake practicing his basketball in the cul-de-sac every day after school, and our wonderful friends Dan, Justine, Darcy, and Joe who we swear are like our own group of friends from, “How I Met Your Mother,” minus Barney. I don’t think we could have found a better place to live if we tried. Our extended familyLouis’s family is Brazilian where most of his family lives in New Jersey. Louis has three nieces, one nephew, one older sister and one younger sister. We are fortunate to have both of his sisters live only 6 hours away in Florida. His parents are only a short 40 minute drive further south of his sisters. Most of Tabbitha’s family lives in Kentucky but, her sisters and parents also live in Florida. She has one older sister, who is married, and a 11 year old niece. We are blessed to have Tabbitha’s parents live in our old house in Florida. We swear that’s its awesome to feel like we still live in Florida because of having our families so close to visit. Both of our families are rich in culture and are exploding in talent. Our family traditionsWe have several traditions that we love for you to get to know starting with a double whammy on Christmas. We open presents on Christmas Eve with immediate family and enjoy a huge breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes all after opening Santa presents on Christmas morning. We love to wake up and fight the morning rush on Black Friday every year after a hot breakfast strategizing the morning shopping attack on Target. We enjoy each other’s company with a nice potluck luncheon once a quarter with our church. We treat ourselves to two mini vacations twice a year at Universal Studios since we are annual pass holders. We go to Disney’s Night of Joy every year in September without fail. We always have cook outs with family and friends on a random basis. Lastly, we always enjoy each other’s company relaxing to some prime time TV following dinner together as a family every night. Facts About HusbandFacts About Wife |
