We believe in miracles and we know God has a plan. We cannot wait to hold a new baby in our arms and hearts. Thank you for giving us this opportunity. We wish you well on your journey and we ask that you consider us to walk beside you. We hope that the love, fun, and joy of our family comes through to you as you learn more about us. Your baby will always know the gift of life that you gave to them and the great love that you have for the baby. We will welcome a baby into our family with open arms and loving hearts. We have so much love and hope in our hearts and we cannot wait to share it with a baby. We can only imagine how difficult this decision is for you We are so very eager to add to our family and share all that we have to offer with a baby. We are excited to complete our family and we thank you for giving us the opportunity. About usThe day I met Rich I went home and told my mom “I met the man I’m going to marry!” I just knew, it was love at first sight! It has been 17 years since our very first date and I love him more with each day. I still get giddy when I see him pull into the driveway. He is my best friend and soul mate. He always makes sure we are safe and well taken care of, showing our son his muscles and telling him that he will protect us from “monsters”. He has so much compassion in his heart. We have pulled the car over many times to help a snapping turtle cross safely to the other side. He recently brought a toad home that he had found outside in the cold fall weather. He made a little house for him in a box and put him under a nice warm light on the piano and bought him worms at the store so he could eat. He has a pure love for nature and life. Rich is an assistant general manager at a private club/hotel. He gets to meet really interesting and well-known people everyday! He is often recognized by members and coworkers as going above and beyond to make them feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed. Missy works as a stylist and manager at a salon. We owned the salon for 5 years but recently sold it to have more free time and less stress. But she continues to do hair and manage a salon part time. Missy works about 20 hours a week and in that time our son goes to grandmas (Missy’s mom) house. We couldn’t ask for a better caretaker! With constant hugs, kisses, and spoiling, she provides the perfect “home away from home”. She too is excited to welcome a new little one into her home. Our home / Our petsWe live in a small town of about 8000 people in Wisconsin. We are close enough to bigger cities but we have the comfort, security, and safety of our quaint town. We have a 3 bedroom brick home in a very family oriented neighborhood with lots of young families and kids of all ages. There is a grade school, park, grocery store and restaurants all within walking distance. We are not extravagant people who travel the world but we cherish our family and have a ton of fun every day! We love to spend time in our pool, having barbeques and playing games on our deck. We love to take bike rides, walks, go disc golfing, go to grandma and grandpas house for bingo, croquet, and family dinners. We have a blast staying at water parks and hotels and going on mini adventures. We can’t wait to take our family to Disney. Our extended familyOur families live close by. Missy’s brother, Rich’s mom, step dad, brother, sister in law, and 2 nephews live about 10 minutes away. Rich’s dad lives about 5 hours away but makes for a nice mini vacation to go visit! Missy’s dad and step mom live about an hour away and her mom and step dad live 2 minutes away. They are our best friends, not just family. Our families are so excited for us to adopt! They are incredibly supportive in our decision and they cannot wait for a new family member. Our adoption storyWe have been very happily married for over 12 years! We started trying to have a family just a year after we got married. We always knew we wanted a house full of kids! Actually at our wedding, our guests were putting bets on how quickly we would start having kids. After many years we were not able to get pregnant on our own and sought the help of fertility doctors. After 7 years, many procedures, and multiple miscarriages, we conceived our miracle son. When he was a year old we began treatments again only to have more miscarriages. We have spent 11 years trying to build our family and have had 7 miscarriages. We whole heartedly believe that God has intended for our family to grow through adoption and we are excited for the journey! We extend to you our promise…. We promise a home full of love laughter, encouragement, protection, and strong values. We promise to love your baby as if she was our biological child. We promise to teach and allow your child to have a strong sense of self and confidence. We promise to provide unconditional love, always and no matter what. We promise that your child will know the immense love that you have for her. We promise to be honest with her about her story. We promise to send photos or maintain contact in whatever way we all feel comfortable. We promise to be the best parents we can possibly be. Facts About HusbandFacts About Wife |
