Dear birthmother,Hi! We are Luther and Stephanie. Thank you for considering us for the adoption of your baby. It is such a loving act to think of your baby first. We are excited to adopt again! We adopted a baby girl four years ago, and the time has flown. We are so excited to become parents again, and our little girl is excited to be the big sister. We have been married for 9 years, and we've always known that we were meant to have children. We both come from loving and supportive families - lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents! We know this is a difficult time in your life, and we want to support you how we can. Thank you so much for reading about us and considering us for your child. We cannot even imagine what you are going through. We admire your courage and unselfish love for your child. We are so excited to adopt a baby! Hopefully from our profile, you will learn more about our family and what we can offer you and your child. We have been married for nine years. We met at our friends’ wedding that we both were attendants for. We hit it off right away, and were married a year later. Luther and I are best friends and are so happy to have each other. We always knew that children would be part of our lives, and infertility was a trying time. When we learned that having kids on our own was not an option, we jumped into the adoption process. After four months of waiting, we were blessed with a baby girl. She was six days old when we got her, and now she is almost 5 – time flies! We are excited to add to our family, and Hayden to be a sister. We feel that we can provide a loving, stable home for your child. Your baby will always know how special he or she is through adoption, and how much you love and care for him or her. We would welcome the opportunity to talk with you. 
About usStephanie is a stay at home mom for our daughter. She loves that she gets to spend lots of time with her as she is such a joy in our lives. Stephanie is also a substitute teacher at local schools, but it is very part-time work.She also enjoys spending time with Luther and Hayden, traveling to see other family, knitting, and watching movies. Luther works as an Engineer for a major power company in our area. The job provides us the stability we need to support a family. It also permits him to take time off during the adoption and future family events. He enjoys spending time with Hayden and Stephanie, being outside, and staying active. 
Our home / Our petsWe live in a area with lots of woods and land for kids to grow and play!! Our neighborhood is quiet with many families. Deer walk through our front yard all the time! We have a large yard with a swing set and sandbox to play. We also have a 5 1/2 year old dog named Buckley, who is great with kids. 
Our extended familyOur families have always been very supportive of adoption, and are excited for our next child to join the families. One of Luther’s cousin and her husband has also adopted. Most of our family lives a couple hours away, but we see them at least once a month, and talk at least once a week. Luther’s brother and family lives just miles away, and we have friends close by with small children. 
What lead us to adoptionAfter a struggling with infertility, we decided to adopt. Once all the paperwork was in, we waited one month before we got a call. There was a baby girl for us! We were able to get her the next day! She was six days old when she came into our home. Adoption is a wonderful way to build a family and relationships. She is so special to us.
