Dear birthmother,Hello. We are Mike and Katie. First, we would like to thank you for reading about us. We have been married going on three years and are best friends and more in love than ever. The only void in our lives is to have a baby to love and raise together. We will provide your baby with a loving home, spiritual guidance, a quality education and a loving extended family. We hope as you go through this very difficult and brave journey you have chosen that you will prayerfully consider us as the adoptive parents for your baby. We would first like to thank you for taking your time to look at our profile.Also, we would like for you to know how much we admire you for the decision you have made to give your baby up for adoption.We can’t imagine how tough that decision was for you,but it shows true unconditional love for your baby.We want to assure you that we will love and cherish your baby unconditionally. We met about 12 years ago at our church and have been friends ever since.We have now been married almost 2 years and we are best friends We can’t imagine life without each other.Katie has 2 daughters from a previous marriage.Lauren is 19 and no longer lives at home. Caroline is 16 and lives at home with us.They are both so excited about having a little brother or sister.We knew when we got married that Katie could not have any more children.We both want so badly to experience being parents together and sharing in the joy of raising a child.We both feel like caring for and loving a child could only strengthen our love we have for each other. We currently attend the same church where we met 12 years ago.We have made many good friends there and they are just like family.We will get a lot of support from them when we do get our baby.God is the center of our lives and the majority of activities we do are church related.The church has many activities for all children all centered around them learning God’s word.There is a n indoor playground,an outdoor playground,volleyball courts,soccer fields and an open play area.The church also has up to date facilities where we can be sure our children are safe and secure. We are so excited about the blessing of raising a child together.We can’t wait to add this new addition to our family.Thank you for taking your time to consider us as the adoptive parents for your family.We hope we have reassured you that your baby will be loved unconditionally and taken care of to the best of our abilities. 
About usKatie is a Certified Professional Coder for a local Internal Medicine doctor. She hopes to be able to work from home so she can be at home with the baby. Mike is a control man at General Electric. He is currently in school and will be finished with his degree in 2 months. Caroline is our sixteen year old. She is a fun, outgoing young lady who just brightens the room when she walks in. She is the captain of her High School cheerleading team. She also loves gymnastics and plays soccer. Her favorite activity is hanging out with her friends. She is always bringing home a new friend for us to meet. 
Our home / Our petsOur home is about 10 miles outside of the town where we both work. We have four acres of land around our house which will be plenty of room for our child to play. Our home is next door to where Mike grew up. We consider it a blessing to have his Dad so close by. 
Our extended familyHis Dad is retired and he and Mike frequently like to work on projects together. We know that anytime we need anything that he will be right there. He is very excited about becoming a Grandfather again. Mike has an older brother that has two sons that are now teenagers. Mike also has a younger brother who is 24 and lives right down the road from us. Mikes mother lives in town not to far from where we both work. Mike stops by and checks on her often. Katie has a close relationship with her family. Her dad passed away about ten years ago. Her mother lives in town and she talks to her everyday and spends a lot of time with her. She is very excited about being a grandmother again. Katie has a twin brother who has a baby boy who is now 18 months old. We can’t wait for him to meet his new cousin! Katie also has an older brother who lives out of state but we stay in close contact with him. 
What we do for funWe both really like going to amusement parks. Roller coasters are our favorite. We like getting together with our friends and playing cards and we are huge football fans. We try and go to a couple of games a year. During the summer we spend a lot of time at the lake. Mike loves to barefoot water ski and Katie likes to be pulled on the tube. When we went through Angel Adoption with Carolyn and Sharon, we felt completely comfortable talking with them and working with them! They are really easy to talk to!
