Dear birthmother,We are so exctied about this opportunity to complete our family! We currently have two children ages 4 and 2, and are now looking forward to adding a third child through adoption. We belive adoption is a blessing to all involved. We will provide a loving, energetic, family oriented home to your child. We can't wait for snuggles, kisses, reading books and play time with newest member of our family. Thank you for considering us as parents of your child. John and I met our freshman year of college and were married four years later. Some of our favorite memories are our long, late night talks on the porch of the building between our dorms. Here we discussed our dreams of marriage and a family. We were unsure whether Katrina would be able to have children, so we talked a lot about adoption and how wonderful it would be to have an adopted child be a part of our family. We were married for 5 years, through which we had the opportunity to grow in our love and friendship with each other. We have each traveled overseas many times and had the opportunity to live in Egypt. Since returning to the US, we continued to travel a great deal and create many memories. What an amazing journey you have begun. We believe a baby is a blessing and you are blessing us with the gift of life. Thank you for that. We look forward with great excitement to welcoming the newest addition to our family. We've included some information in this letter to help you get to know us better. We admire the decision you are making and hope to support you in any way that we can. Thank you for allowing the opportunity to share a little about ourselves. 
About usJohn works in downtown Chicago as a manager with a trading firm and has great hours to be home in the evenings with the family. He loves to wrestle, play basketball and fish with the boys. We both enjoy sitting on the floor and reading books to the children in the evening. Katrina is a stay at home mom and can dedicate love, time and energy into providing the best possible home for this baby. She enjoys taking the children to the park, library, and the zoo among other things. 
Our home / Our petsWe have a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. Our neighborhood is quiet, with mostly single family homes with families. 
Our extended familyWe both came from families of 6. Katrina's family includes 3 girls and a boy, and John's had the opposite with 3 boys and a girl. We both remember great experiences with our siblings and are excited to create memories of our own with and for our children. We look forward to making our family complete with the addition of another child. 
What we do for funWe then were blessed to have 2 biological boys in our family, now ages 4 and 2. They love to laugh together and we look forward to sharing that joy with their baby sibling. We love to spend time together as a family. We take walks, play games, go swimming, play with our dogs and eat dinner together. We have annual family vacations and other weekend camping trips whenever we can. We also spend time with our extended family whenever possible. "Baba" and "Bapa" (grandma and grandpa) love to come and play with the boys and we get together with aunts, uncles and cousins for many special occasions. Facts About HusbandFacts About Wife |
